Health Care -- the Objective  | read this item

The initial Obama and Congressional objective was called “Health Insurance Reform”, but the name was later changed to “Health Care Reform”.  The original intent was to provide health care to 45 million people in the United States that did not have health insurance, and many believed the 45 million figure included non-citizens.  The numbers used to identify those without health care has varied between 30 and 46 million.

Congress says they’re rushing this bill through in order to save lives.  In fact, Harry Reid said that 2 people die every 10 minutes because they don’t have health care.

If Harry Reid is correct, why is Congress waiting till 2013 to implement the new Health Care plan?  By waiting until 2013, approximately 316,560 more people will die—12/hour!  Are a few hundred thousand people considered an acceptable loss in order to avoid disrupting the 2012 elections?

The new objective appears to be “Do whatever it takes to pass this bill, and delay implementation until after the 2012 elections”.  What a farce.
